Trickle vents on double glazed units.

Thanks for the reply forgot to say the vents are placed in bar under the top window which opens. Directly under handle and security lock. Advice welcomed.

Easiest place to fit them is top rail of opening sashes.

I’ve got to say, I’m not a great lover of them in the sash profile as to me it will possibly weaken the strength of the frame. I would add a frame extension (add on) and have it routed in during manufacture. There are also glazed in vents that can be fitted on top of the sealed unit.
