Bathroom Fitting

Can I do a simple bathroom renovation for around £1-£1.5k (labour costs) in London?

Anonymous user 16/03/2024 - 2.47 PM

I have a 2m x 1.5m bathroom. If I just get: - Current tiles taken off - Walls + ceiling plastered (no tiles) - Skirting board replaced - Vinyl floor replaced with new vinyl - New toilet, bathtub and sink installation (in the same places). Could that be done quickly and within the labour costs budget?

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Hi as good as your budget sounds I do not think you will be able to get it done in that tiling as well as the cost of absolutely everything has increased alot and makes this less attractive as I said this because of extremely high costs in every area only way to reduce the cost by doing some of the time consuming work yourself if that helps.

Ye you cen save money just working on this yourself with the easy steps like remove tiles and skirtings and floor vinyl yourself you cen do this in one day and is good saving when you prepare area for work there is always extra charges when its coms to prepare before someone cen start the job it’s always take extra day and this will cut your cost of your bathroom fitting by someones 1 working day
