Remove wet room to make a games room

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 4.04 PM

Hi hope someone can help. I'm buying a property that has a wet room fitted down stairs. I'm looking to remove said wet room and convert it into a games room for the kids. I'm looking at general costs and what/ who I'd need. Like water pipes, drainage, flooring etc Thanks in advance

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Hi Cherry, This kid of works can be done by a team or a single Multiple trader. There are many factors that will impact the time and cost of such a project like size of rooms, Volume of Waste removal and associated logistics, existing condition of the fabric of the room and what you’d like to install to the room. The best way to learn the processes and cost of these works is to provide a list of what you would like to do and which materials you’d like to use then invite local tradesperson to Quote. Good luck with your plans. Speak soon Chris

Hi Cherry, as stated above, the `strip out` is fairly standard, but the refurbishment options are so varied, you would need to choose your wall /floor finishes & amount of sockets, etc for a final price.Hope this helps, Chris M-W.
