Coving and artex ceiling

Hi all, I have artex ceiling which might contain asbestos and I want to remove the coving and re plaster the whole ceiling. My questions is Is it safe to remove the coving Is the coving been painted or might contain artex Thanks

Hello, Aspestos must be removed by a licensed specialist. Not all Artex contains asbestos, you should have it tested and remove it yourself if the tests come back negative.

You need to have it check before you remove it as you need a licence specialis for asbestos, but not all of them contains asbestos. Cheers
