Soil pipe on back of house
Anonymous user 03/03/2024 - 3.42 PM
I live in a terraced house and my kitchen and bathroom are on the front of the house. I want to put a extension on the back of the house with a en suite. How do I get a soil pipe to my back garden when the soil pipe at present is on the front of the house. Can this be done thank you

This can be done and should be done before your foundations are laid for the new extension, you will need to locate the existing soil pipe within you property and come off of that existing soil pipe this would be the most cost effective way

excavate existing drains to see how deep original ones are then if the distance from rear to front allows a good fall for foul to excavate a trench to gain adequate fall the new drains can be installed to match existing with new inspection chamber on any change of direction

you will have to dig up ground floor to run a new drain to drain at front of house,or use a macerator to run small bore pipe to join drain at front.

It all depends if there is any foul drainage running through your back garden otherwise you will need to route it from front to back internally within boxing in with access points or a saniflo product unfortunately
