rust on external furniture of 3 year old glazing

Should my patio doors handle and the letter box should be covered by the 10 year guarantee given by the fitter? All fitted within 3-4 years as we did then gradually. There is rust an every single one 2 patio doors , letter box and front door handle Thank you

Most companies offer a 10 year guarantee. But not all guarantees are comprehensive and some state glass and hardware (handles ect) only covered for 12 months. We offer a comprehensive guarantee as we believe that’s the correct thing to do. You should check the small print in the contract to see what your guarantee terms are.

I think all the above comments are correct. Is this customer in a coastal location as in the past i had a problem with door furniture and handles tarnishing and rusting due to the salt in the air.

The five-year guarantee of fixtures and fittings in place at the time of purchase along with glass but a ten-year warranty normally given for the frames only
