GRP Roof Slope with laminate

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 4.04 PM

Thank you for all the replies. What would be the cheapest and quickest way to add a slope. Or should i just leave it and add a slope in the future if it gets damaged.

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Hi there, A flat roof will generally have a slight pitch of 1 to 10 degrees. It shouldn't be flat, flat. In essence you could make a slope over the top and coat over it. A picture of the building would help me give you a better answer. What you must bare in mind is that a lot of flat roofs will hold water near the edges or sometimes elsewhere it can help keep the roof cool from the sun and stop any uv damage. But most coating systems should withstand the UV for 25+ years. I wouldn't be concerned about it causing an future leaks. I hope this has helped you

No you can’t , you will need to remove the roof covering add additional falls with new timber the re GRP the area . You won’t be able to achieve a fall by simply adding resin and matting.
