In what order should I get my jobs done before or after rewiring?

Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.47 PM

Hello I'm looking to get a full house rewire in the future but I also have other plans which may cause just as much disturbances and I don't know in what order to get them done before having all walls plastered and decorated. I'm looking to have done: New floorboards/stairs, Move/Add a radiator and have the central heating pipes redone to clean them up, Interior Insulation work if any, House rewire What order would be most efficient before finishing up and decorating? Thanks

First fix electrical and lay floor boards before plastering. Then after plastering electrical second fix and testing.

Agreed with above 100% rewire first. If you plan on doing the other works as well then now would also be a good time to plan the layout of your house and have sockets in exactly the right positions. Hope this helps
