Resin Bonded (Scattercoat) driveway
Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.46 PM
I have an old tarmac driveway of 150-200 square meters that I would like to improve. To have it removed and block paved, or going over the top with a resin bound system is proving to be very expensive. I have read about resin bonded where a layer of resin is placed over the existing surface and stones scattered into the resin. But there doesn't seem to be many companies that specialise in this in my area (Southern Hampshire). How does it compare in price to a resin-bound system? How long do these last? Any other things to consider? This of course assumes that the existing tarmac is in good enough condition for the overlay. Thanks
