Freestanding electric cooker on floorboards

Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 3.28 PM

I've just read if you have an upstairs kitchen you can't put a free-standing oven onto floorboards. Is this right? and if so can you just put ceramic tiles under cooker or must you have integrated oven.

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Yes you can put a freestanding cooker on floorboards but ideally lay tile boards down first or use ply then tile over top to stop any uneaven movement in floor
