Replacing bathtub trap drain

Anonymous user 03/03/2024 - 3.42 PM

Hi everyone, I live in a 1960's house, and the drain on my bathtub is leaking, replacing it seems like an easy job, but I'm wondering if I will e able to connect a new PVC bath trap to my existing cooper? waste pipe, which takes waste from tub to waste pipe. hope this makes sense, im not to familiar with plumbing jargon lol have a great weekend

Your copper pipe is probably 35mm or 42mm You can connect onto this with compression waste fittings that are 32mm or 40mm As you tighten the fitting the rubber o ring will adjust to the size Good luck 👍
