Installing a double shower head

Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.46 PM

Good morning. We have a bath with a fixed shower head, which is not very handy when we have to give a shower to my son. The vertical pipe is concealed behind the tiles, so there is only the horizontal bit of the shower head exposed. We are looking to either replacing it with a removable head shower, or ideally with a double head shower (fixed + removable with hose). However, we really don't want to re-do completely the tiling and we don't have any spare tile! Is there any painless solution for this? The valve is located on the other wall (the long side of the bath). We don't mind to have the hose attached to the valve if that's easier. As long as we don't have to re-do any tiling. Thanks a lot

After reading this I would suggest that you may be able to change your current shower head to a dual head without much damage at all

As it’s a concealed shower you would find it difficult to add a hand held to your current shower valve without having to change the concealed shower valve. If your shower is over a bath maybe changing the bath taps to include a hand held shower head would be easier.

Could you add a couple of photos of the installtion to allow a more thorough answer. Initially as everything is concealed there is no where to attached a hosed shower head.
