monsoon 3.0 bar twin getting hot but no water

So our pump stopped working yesterday and i have run out of ideas on how to fix it/google searches. The machine itself is getting hot and there is a very quiet sound coming from it but there is no water coming out of any taps/showerrs/bath. The pipes leading in and out are cold but the ("motor"?) is very hot. Any suggestions on possible solutions/troubleshooting?

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

You will need to replace this if its been in for a while. Its sound like the pump has seized. If it's still in warranty contact the manufacturer.

Pump motor seized either due to being unused for a while, wrong pump installation, or existing pumps is on the way oout. Humming noise is ( WORKING - pump motor windings) magnetic field getting hot as it's not moving. Try... 1)Shaking pump. 2) tap the pump body with an object may get the pump moving / up and running again. Hope this helps.. Thanks pd

Yes pump seized, you should be able to change it yourself, there’s normally shut off valves on the inlet pipes to the pump which will isolate flow so you can just disconnect pipes and reconnect to a new pump. Just make sure you check the washers on the pump connections preferable change (there will be some with the new pump, or if not a plumber will do it for you for a small charge. Quick job.
