Mr muscle sink unblocker gel used with sink drain u it in place

Hi I have used mr muscle sink unblocker gel in my bathroom sink but didn't realise I shouldn't use with sink drain unit in place.is this a problem ? Just wondering should I take it apart to make sure no gel lingering in the fixtures or just keep flushing with hot water?
