Combi Boiler with Gas Fire?
Anonymous user 03/03/2024 - 2.55 PM
Hi There, Can you help? We have a gas fire and a back boiler, the boiler has given up the ghost, it has been recommended that we have a combi boiler which sounds like a good idea, the house is a 3 bed, one bathroom and one separate toilet, and the water pressure is fine for a combi, but my question is can we have a new gas fire fitted as well, (we have been told yes and no on this) if so is this the best option? Thank you.

Hi
The simple answer is yes you will need to have the old back boiler taken out of the chimney.
