Is it better to have a uPVC window frame solely constructed from uPVC or both uPVC and metal?

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

I’d advise on this being built with both materials 👍🏻🤟🏻

You can't go wrong with either, Aluminium tends to condensate a little more. The other alternative is to have them sprayed. What we do is offer a quality paint spraying service whilst giving your windows a much needed service. Its non-invasive so you don't have to rip any windows out and let them sit in landfill. We give them a factory finish at a fraction of the cost. Hope we can help!

The metal is for reinforcing the frame which makes it heavier there is an alternative with pvc reinforcing which gives you a better energy rating

If you used metal in a upvc window it is better more strength in it but the criteria for upvc is u-value (thermal)and it would decrease by quite a bit if metal was to accompany upvc.solely upvc with composite materials are thermally far more superior (thermal value is much greater)

Metal materials used in UPVC windows frames help to re in-force the frame and give them more strength.
