Is the material under my roof tiles a breathable or non breathable membrain

The material feels plastic, is dull grey on the underside and shinny black of the roof side, there are no manufacturers details on the parts I can see. I have photos of both sides

its non breathable and prone to condensation it was introduced about 15 -20yrs ago advertised as being super strong before breathable membrane then quickly with draw as it was found to lead to severe condensation in the loft.
