Loose gas oven door handle

I am an appliance engineer. I cannot be 100% because you haven't given any make and model details and there are literally thousands of variants Most door handles are secured by 2 screws. Most doors can be easily stripped down to gain access to these 2 screws The chances are the door screws will just need tightening. If however the door screws will not tighten and just turn, then the thread inside the door handle will have gone and you will need to re-secure it with a slightly bigger self tapping screw or alternatively replace the door handle. There are a few imported cookers mainly from china where the door assembly comes as one part and you cant get the various components that make up the door, some of these doors can be stripped down some of them cannot. IMPORTANT. DO NOT try tightening these screws up when the door is hot, and do not overtighten, it can lead to the glass shattering (If its a glass door) You also have the option of securing the screw in with something like Loctite thread locking glue, the issue here is you will never be able to remove the handle or if you tried, you may end up breaking the glass

It’s very straightforward all you need to do is open your Open door there’s two screws on the inside unscrew the screws apply new screws or use the same screws you had before and tighten the screws in Check they’re secure Check the oven door
