Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.45 PM

We have the Indian stone at patio fitted at around two weeks. After the fitting several days, there were a lot of “joint it “ still remain on the surface of Indian stone , when I use the water to clear it, there are a lot of “black spot” or “resin” make miscolour , and very ugly. Is there any way to clear those mismatch colour? Tried to contact the landscaper several times but no luck, I was wonder why the landscaper left so many “joint it” on the surface of the Indian stone........ help pls

Hi. You can get brick acid or adhesive residue remover from most local building merchants! Hope this helps!

Before pointing the Sandstone Paving I would have sealed the paving with a clear sealing fluid, this stop the colour from the pointing from bleeding through, however the best way to rectify the problem is to use a watered-down acid wash and this should resolve the problem.

Firstly the person or company who laid your patio should come and rectify the problem as it's there poor work that's caused this issue.

Maybe try give it a lite jet wash if that does not work then yes I would say get some brick acid but only apply to the areas where it needs it and then a good wash down after. Hope this helps you. The landscaper who did your project should have left the job all done and clean for you though.
