I've removed skirting to lay a tile floor. Think I found asbestos insulating board behind it

Have removed skirting boards to lay tile floor and found what I initially thought was some sort of concrete packing board behind them. Crumbly, bit of dust. I brushed and vacuumed. Now thinking it's actually asbestos insulating board!!! Is it ok just to put skirting back on? The rest is pretty well sealed. Obviously also trying not to spiral into panic as I've likely had a lung full and walked the dust around the house

Cover up the suspect material and seal the area as well as possible. I would then call my asbestos contractor to test it. If the test showed positive for asbestos I would instruct licensed asbestos contractor to remove it and supply the relevant paperwork

Hi,you should seal the areas where the suspect asbestos are and fine local asbestos contractors to survey and give you a report and price to carry out the work. Obviously they will provide you with all the revelant paperwork that is required once the work is carry out.
I hope this helps
