Oven door fascia fallen off
Anonymous user 03/03/2024 - 3.41 PM
Hi, the metal fascia on my oven door has just fallen off, and I was wondering what the next step should be.. can it be glued back on safely? Do I need a new oven? This one is about 15 years old now.. many thanks in advance, Jon

It's possible the facia is for aesthetics only and yes glue may work in the short term however being an oven it will naturally cause heat and melt the glue which is possibly the reason it has come off in the first place. Best to try an identify the clips rhat would of held it in place and see if these can be fixed. Before any attempts to fix are made a visual Inspection of the glass and seal should be completed to ensure the integrity of the oven is intact. Pictures would be helpful if I was to advise more 👍
