Moving kitchen to other side of room
Anonymous user 03/03/2024 - 3.41 PM
I just want to find out how complicated and expensive it would be to move my kitchen from one side of the room to the other. The current kitchen is on an inside wall (semi detached) and I want to move to outside wall as I think it will resolve some of the current issues I have. 1) sink pipes run through the wall into a conservatory and then go into the concrete floor. This causes lots of gurgling and slow running drainage. The floor in the kitchen area is also concrete. There is a man hole outside the wall I want to move kitchen to. 2) The cooker hob is gas but due to conservatory already being there when purchased property I suspect due to new regs I will need to replace with electric cooker as there is no outside window? The room is open plan though and there are windows at the front of the property (living room area) 3) there are currently electrics in the area where I’d want the new kitchen to be.
