I am putting a new kitchen into my 1937 house. do i need an extractor fan for building regs approval?

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

If you’re only refitting kitchen and there are no building regs applied for then no. If you’re extending for example then if there was no vented cooker hood then yes you would need one to comply with part F but not many building inspectors would pull you on it
