Licking pipe in the toilet
Anonymous user 16/03/2024 - 2.45 PM
We have a licking pipe within the wall of a new toilette. We don’t have extra-tiles and we don’t know where to find the same ones in case they break. Is there a way you can access the pipes through the flash button or the tube below the toilette and fix it without breaking the wall? I can send pictures… Thank you for your help!

No, it’s straight through to find the leak.. spending 300 on tiles will be a lot cheaper then the effects that damp will cause.
Also check out topps tiles take one in with you there normally very helpful

I have to see the photo first to see what type of toilet is? Floor standing or wall fitting?

In case the wall is made of plasterboard (partition wall) you might be able to acces is from the other room by making a hole in the wall.
After leak identified and fixed, fit the board back fill and paint.
If the wall is brick, or block, you can try by removing the grout from the affected area and with a suction pad trying to take the tile/s out, as usually beeing dump will come out easily.
Good luck.

It depends on how big the access is on the flush button but generally I would remove the tile or unless you could access it through the other side of the wall if it’s a walk hung toilet and inside a false wall?
