Flat V Shallow pitched roof Single skin block

Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 3.26 PM

Hi, I have a 1820's cottage and on the side is a single skin celcon block extension with a flat roof with felt on 18mm plywood/8x2. I want to make this a utility room and downstairs bathroom. I was thinking of framing inside with 4x2 and replacing all of the timbers involved with it. What would you recommend; Warm roof Cold roof GRP EPDM Or a shallow pitched roof. Thanks

I would recommend a warm roof for this as it would provide great insulation for the extension.
