Is there a remote thermostat that would simply replace the old wall mounted one?

Anonymous user 01/03/2024 - 2.57 PM

I need to replace the wall fixed room thermostat that is wired to the boiler with a cheap remote one that would be able to connect to the WiFi so I could control it from my phone while out without installing other kits. Is there anything like that on the market? Thanks in advance

A hive active heating thermostat would do that no problem as the unit is wireless and take batteries so it could just be fixed in the same place as your existing thermostat.

Hi, I have personally fitted a Drayton Wiser Wireless Smart Thermostat which is considerably cheaper than the Hive or Nest Thermostats. The thermostat can be mounted in the same place as your current one and a wireless receiver will just have to be wired in to your boiler for it to work. Here's a link to one at the best price I could find.. https://www.toolstation.com/drayton-wiser-smart-thermostat/p21086?store=JU&utm_source=googleshopping&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=googleshoppingfeed&mkwid=_dc&pcrid=558699009113&pkw=&pmt=&gclid=Cj0KCQiA_JWOBhDRARIsANymNOZAZpSHbdDA7QFnmBzFHdrYnonvDpT8-kQqL3ubIrPXJLzUOrMf9q0aAqnREALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds
