Balcony floor- what is the top layer?

Anonymous user 01/03/2024 - 2.57 PM

Hey, I have a balcony and the floor is a dark grey colour. I think the texture of the top layer is slightly rubbery (if I dig my nails into it, it leaves a slight dent). Do you know what this material is? I considered if it might be bitumen paint (but bitumen seems too dark) or Synthaprufe (I know nothing about that). I burnt the balcony floor a bit last summer, and made the surface flat using tanking slurry. However, the tanking slurry is much lighter in colour and the wrong texture. Do you know what the material on the balcony is so I can cover it back up? Thank you!

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

It could be polyroof we used to use this product years ago. It dried a light grey colour. I would recommend using sheet lead
