Bathroom has been tiled floor and walls, then toilet and vanity unit fitted before tiles have been grouted. Is this OK

as A&P Decor said no this is not best practice.
normally the grouting is completed first to prevent moisture from getting on to sub floor.

Technically this is a fine if it's proper seal around . Only it's looks a bit ugly and if in the future you want to change a new toilet or vanity unit ,then they maybe will not cover that places completely.

Not a major issue as long as the tiles are correctly adhered to the walls and floor and the fittings (toilet and vanity unit) are correctly drilled and screwed through the tiled surfaces. Ideally the tiles should have been grouted prior to fittings installed to ensure the tiles are "locked" in place adding further strength.
