Do I need Planning Permission for a 40m2 small garden job?
Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.44 PM
Hello, I am trying to redo my small garden and convert the surface to all patio (using porcelain stones), and remove old sheds (medium size). The work will include some excavation to make way for drainage (Gravel Soaking or normal). But that's it. I don't believe I need a planning permission for this. But just trying to get expert view. Regards,

hi. no you do not need planning permission to refurb your garden, however if you are having new drainage put in i would recommend that you make sure the builder knows the correct falls for drainage.

No you don't need any. Unless your in a private rented property you may need to ask your landlord
