Hi, I'm trying to fix a stud header into a steel beam and wondering what's the best way to do it? In terms of technique and fixings, it'd be helpful to know. Thank you!

They should have elaborated, tek screws can drill through wood and steel without needing to be pre, drilled . That’s the correct way of answering.!

Yes you can use tek screws, but there are several other ways to fasten a timber stud to an RSJ/steel, one being to use timber chocks within the flanges next to the web
