Brick and wood large Bar and BBQ removal

Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 3.25 PM

Hi, was wondering how id go about getting someone to remove this structure? We have just purchased the property and while the structure looks great, we need it removing to create space for our childrens swing set etc. Pictures via link: https://share.icloud.com/photos/0pcnDI5ZgEcQiILCHdOtC5hpw Any suggestions would be gratefully welcomed.

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Morning Greg, Start with stripping the roof… this will show you how the roof structure has been build. Take roof supports down… and supporting vertical beams down and all should be ok. 👍🏼 Easy said than done I know.. but doesn’t look hard just time consuming.

Always start at the top and work down, pay attention to any services that serve the area first however. I am in Bicester so depending on where you are I would be keen to look at it for you.

Advertise it for sale as free with the taker to dismantle it and take it away. If you dismantle it it’s time consuming, you need the tools and ability to take it to your local tip. Or pay someone like me through my builder site 😉

You need to start by removing the top roof and then remove the inner ceiling after that take the fascia boards off all the way round then the beams need removing one at a time from the top once that is done then supports can be removed and then the rest of the bar can be taken down.
