Meter ventilation.
Anonymous user 03/03/2024 - 3.40 PM
What are the regs regarding gas meter ventilation? I have a meter under the stairs, covered by a sliding door cupboard. It has an air brick venting to the outside, but it let's a lot of cold into the house. Is outside venting necessary? If not, would some internal only venting be sufficient?

Hi if it's under a u16 meter which it will say on the meter itself then no it doesn't require ventilation...but be careful blocking vents uo as this van cause problems for the building . They are there for a reason and blocking them up can cause damp issues
Hope this helps
