Tackling rising damp in an occupied house

Anonymous user 01/03/2024 - 2.57 PM

In terms of installing a chemical DPC in a Victorian house currently occupied by a family, does this have to be done from the inside or can it also be done from the outside? If inside, this would presumably entail removing kitchen units and suchlike in order to access the wall? Thanks Will Thomas

Get it checked by somebody who is trustworthy and knowledgeable. Genuine Rising damp, although mercifully rare, can occur in any building depending on the ground conditions
