can I get a guarantee from the renderers who rendered my home? they put it on as per spec.

Im just wondering if the rendering company should provide me with a guarantee for my rendering against cracks etc? they have given me the manufacturers certificate (30 years) if i look after it, and a letter saying they have put it on as per manufacturers specification but should they give me a guarantee incase it cracks etc. Many thanks Gemma

The guarantee that you get with any render job is a manufacturer 30 year guarantee. Basically if it cracks or anything fails which it shouldnt if applied correctly you can get a rep out from the manufacturer ie krend and they will check its been applied correctly and then pay out for any work that needs to be done to correct it . You cannot guarantee against cracks. You can however guarantee against the render debonding/blowing/falling off.
