Should we use builders or window company for extension doors and windows?

We need to replace our existing 20 year old windows and at the same time we are getting quotes from builders for a side extension and porch. This will entail several new doors and windows in the extension. When we initially contacted a window/door company to quote for the replacement windows in the existing building it was suggested that it would be better to get all the window and doors supplied and fitted by them as they give a 10 year guarantee on their work. Can anyone advise us on the best course of action- use the builder for everything in the extension and get them to quote accordingly or source the windows and doors from a specialist glazing company? We would still use such a company for the replacement windows anyway. At this stage we are awaiting site visits from builders so would appreciate any help before we provide them with specs for the work...Thanks.
