Flue from burner

Do I need to shorten the flue into the chimney as I don’t have a flue liner , or do you leave the metre length

You need a liner and that metre pipe will connect on to the liner . What’s the point in having a log burner and you don’t get a liner , it’s much safer and more efficient

It's never recommended to put a length of flue pipe straight into a chimney unless your 100% sure the chimney is NOT leaking.
