Do i need planning permission to build a simple lean to made out of wood and a plastic roof on the back of my terraced house and can it be built close to the neighbours fence. Also is there any height restrictions to worry about ,thanks

Have a look on the government planning portal, conservatories are on the list of common projects. It gives you a full run down of what you can do without planning permission. Some local authorities also do a pre-planning consultation £40ish, well worth the money if you are unsure.

You will not need planning for this as its classed as a temporary structure.

You have to come in 150mm from each side Lean to you are well under max height You cant exceed 30 sqmtrs floor area out side size You wont need planning as long as it does not exceed 3 mts projection If it's a new build the you need to submit the drawings to the developer You might need part planning if it exceeds 3 mtrs You need an external door leading into it
