Showerscreen/curtain in front of a window creates a puddle of water
Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 4.02 PM
My bath/shower head is directly in front of a window. The water from the shower builds up on the windowsill and then spills over onto the floor. What can I do to stop this?

Shower curtain will do a good job and is cheaper.

If the shower position can be changed that would be better as it can cause damage on the floor
If water falls into the shower area then the tile should be removed and replaced at an angle running away from the window for long term solution
Even though shower curtain is a cheaper solution

Bespoke glass screen to sit in the window reveal and join in with the existing screen. Realistically without a bespoke screen the shower should never have been installed across the window.

I think the better way is to relocate the shower head to avoid damaged on the tiles and flooding in the floor.
