Removing old Roca Dama toilet seat

Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.43 PM

We have a 20year old Roca Dama toilet seat that we are unable to remove. Trying to pull it up as the instructions say just pulls the toilet pan off the floor. Several people have tried but we urgently need to fit the replacement seat.

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

There may be a concealed screw somewhere, Though if it's suggested it just pulls off. It possibly could have been silliconed or within the year dirt and grime maybe stopping it try using some fairy liquid give it a good clean around the area. By doing this it also may reveal and hidden screws

Chances are at 20 years old the screws or bolts holding it will be badly corroded save any time and cut it off with an angle grinder
