Identifying type of patio concrete slab

Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.43 PM

What is the most obvious go-to square slab of cement you think of when you think of the most basic british garden/patio? I'm looking for slabs that are 45x45cm, 3.5cm thick, grey, slightly pimpled at the bottom and just rough at the top. I have seen these used in so many gardens but I'm having a hard time finding the exact type; B&Q and toppstiles seem to only have fancier stuff. I need to repave part of my garden (of a house I just moved in, no idea what they used) and I want to find the closest possible match so it won't look too different - and so I don't have to repave the whole thing. The guy doing my garden was a little clueless when it came to this.

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Hi, I think going with your description the best type of slab to use would be a grey textured slab. They cost roughly £8 per slab.

Hi, You can try to find the slabs you need at CTD Tiles online. Or simply type on google 45x45 cm slabs and find the one that you have in the garden! Good luck!
