Can I replace the whole shower above my bath without retiling?
Anonymous user 03/03/2024 - 3.40 PM
I have a shower above the bath and looking to replace that but really don't want to retile as I love the tiles we have. We bought our new build 4 years ago and it is very hard to find anything similar to the tiles used. Would we be able to change our basic shower over the bath to a rainfall shower without having to retile?

Hi Mazida, you need to send a photo in showing your current shower, and providing it's a hot and cold fed thermostatic shower instead of an electric shower, you should be able to install a new fixed overhead shower with a combined flexible hose shower outlet attached.
But ultimately you need to resubmit the question with a photo attached.
I hope that helps you

It’s depends on what type of shower is existing, thay could have similar.

If your shower is exposed then you could change it. But a picture would help to confirm all answers.
Normally new builds are built in the wall showers which makes it a lot more difficult to change.
