How long to wait before using the bath?

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 4.02 PM

Newly plastered bathroom walls and ceiling. Tiles are around the bath and shower. I know to wait for it to be painted before using the shower but do I also need to wait that long before using the bath?

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

I would say as long there is no direct water splashes on there you should be fine as paint is not waterproof. Just keep it ventilated.

Wouldn’t use the shower as the direct water may cause it to smudge, would reccomend 24 hours just to be safe but as R.C.H said as long as nothing direct it should be fine.
