Can I reduce neighbour noise with insulation?

Hi all! I live in a terraced house, and I understand this comes with a level of neighbourly noise. Unfortunately my neighbour has an electric guitar and when they are playing, it does sound like they are in my living room with me! Whilst I understand I will not be able to fully block out this noise, I would like to reduce it. Every room in our house shares a wall with their house. It's a Victorian house so there is a solid brick wall between us. I can hear them in every room no matter where they are playing, but I mainly want to insulate my sitting room from them so I can watch a film in peace. Do you have any advice on what to do? We are thinking of adding a layer of acoustic plasterboard, acoustic foam or a stud wall filled with rock wool/foam to the shared wall, what do you think? Thanks for your help in advance.
