Can I cut bushes at the back driveway ?

Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.42 PM

I have a garage at the back in the house and its got about 3 meters of bushes and shrubbery, am I allowed to clean it all myself ? I am about 4th house from the entrance gate and I need to have access from the back of the house, do I need to involve council or can I just ask neighbours and clean up the driveway with a strimmer myself ? The gate also has no lock, so I guess some people might protest that its a security to have that shrubbery but I need to clear up access to the garage. Please advise.

A consultation with the neighbours would be an idea but if its surrounding your garage then yeah you could cut it back
