Party Wall Act 1996/Party Structure Notice Not Served/Negative Effect On My Wall

Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.42 PM

Neighbouring Terrace Hse was bought to refurbish and sell on, guessing him rendering his wall is classed as repairing existing party wall, tradesperson affixed plastic seperation down wall which has damaged/knocked off some textured white paint on my wall, crack on part of wall paint as well. Would appreciate suggestion of best approach being as party structure notice not served, have wondered how much paint knocked off on my side could be classed as unavoidable

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Hello, You need to seek legal advice for a chartered legal professional, who specialises in party wall agreements and disputes. This is a civil/legal matter and not something any tradeperson/business can really advice you on. On a personal note, I would personally suggest talking to the owner of building next door & the builders to see what can be resolved? Regards Frankie BT Roofing Services Limited
