I’ve constructed pathways form many forms of paving form Natural, Concrete or block. So you can use any to make a pathway. Each has it’s benefits and downside’s depending on situation, availability and budget. It’s important to ensure the base and haunching are good because without the support of many other slabs/blocks it’s likely to have movement with use.

I would suggest a 600x600mm paving slab as this allows for ground movements and undulations.

Definitely be 600x600 have 50mm thick plus as there is thinner ones which would brake something I’d make sure to look out for but with paving boundaries are endless best thing is to call someone if your interested as they would be able to show you different samples

The paver is completely customer preference the only real difference is the material it’s made from which affects its lifespan A patio or pathway can have the best slabs but if the ground beneath them hasn’t been correctly prepared the pathway/patio will fail the same applies to how they are laid and if a edge restraint is used
