Hi, We have an outside room that we are wanting to fit a shower, hand basin and toilet inside and want to find out if plans would be needed? Many thanks, Nina

Planning may be required if you need to add additional sewage and ground works and if the change of use effects your neighbours..contact the planning officer before spending money to convert otherwise could prove expensive.

You don’t need plans but you will have apply for change of use and the work will need to be signed of by the BCO (building control officer because it’s a mew toilet plus you will need an extract fan this is all done under building regulations and you will need to get this type of work signed of
