No water going to hot water taps/showers or toilets
Anonymous user 01/03/2024 - 2.56 PM
I just came back from holidays to discover that my taps, toilets and showers have no water. The cold water tap in the kitchen which supplies the mains water is the only one which is working. The boiler and heating system is also working fine and water is being pumped to all the rads. I looked everywhere for a pump of some kind and can only see one circulation pump which is in the boiler and that one seems to be working fine as the rads are getting hot. In the upstairs I only see a big hot water tank and two motorised valves which are both opening (light going on) when I turn on the heating ( I think one is for hot water and one is for the radiators) . I cant see another pump anywhere and I dont seem to have a cold water cistern anywhere ( I dont have an attic, its just a crawl space that cant be accessed)
Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?
