Repair loosen handrails and banister

Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 3.24 PM

Hi, I would like to fix my house’s wooden loose handrail to upstairs (screw loose) and the banister on upper floor (the bottom seems loose and the banister could move left and right). I plan to hire professions to fix these, but i don't know which category to fit in. Should I hire handyman or someone with specific skills (not sure the name)? Just repair but not replacing them, how much should I expert for doing the repair? (for my budget planning)

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

You can do the job yourself! You can reposition the hand rail and drill different holes , you might need an extra pair of hands though. This work all depends on what surfaces you are working with. I am available to help you out.. thank you
