Pendant light to ceiling fan light

Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 3.23 PM

Please excuse what is probably a stupid question either way: is it possible to swap an existing regular pendant light that takes bayonet bulbs for a ceiling fan (with light) that takes screw bulbs? Thanks!

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Yes you can. Remember that the weight of the fan light will be heavier than the pendant and should be supported/fixed accordingly :)

Check the height of the ceiling against the overall dimensions of the fan before you fit it. Takes a long time to assemble, too.
